Date: October 2, 2026Prof. Irmgard Sinning has been awarded the newly established Murnau Medal, introduced on the occasion of the 10th edition of the Murnau Conference on Structural Biology.
The Murnau Medal recognizes scientists whose outstanding research, leadership, and service have made lasting contributions to the structural biology community. It is awarded to Murnau Lecturers, past and present, as well as to other individuals who have played an exceptional role in advancing the field. With the introduction of the medal, the conference aims to establish a lasting tradition that celebrates not only scientific excellence, but also the commitment and service that have helped shape and strengthen the structural biology community.
